D | 他证实自己的父亲合法拥有一支枪。他说：“我完全不知道父亲的意图是什么，他的计划什么，为什么会发生这种事。”当被问及父亲此前是否对菲佐怀恨在心时，他回答说：“我告诉你的是，他没有投票给菲佐。对此，我只能说这么多。”此人否认他的父亲曾公开提及将去袭击或杀害政客，并否认这名71岁的嫌疑人患有心理疾病。

报道称，嫌疑人J. C. Zbraň在艺术上很活跃，曾经出版过多部诗集。2016年，他曾在一家私人保安公司工作。
